As part of our Digital & Technology team, the 1st Line Support Engineer will play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to our digital evolution.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people, and supporting the technologies that drive business performance. You’ll gain exposure to both traditional IT support and the automation tools that underpin AJW’s future-focused strategy.What the Role Involves:Responding to support requests from colleagues across the business, providing clear and friendly assistanceTriaging and resolving incidents, or escalating them to the appropriate teams when neededFulfilling service requests such as system access, hardware setup, and software supportSupporting key tools such as our ERP system (Quantum), Microsoft 365, and internal applicationsMaintaining accurate records of issues and solutions, contributing to a shared knowledge baseWorking within an ITIL-aligned framework to help ensure reliable, consistent serviceAbout youExperience in a customer-facing IT support or service desk roleA collaborative, patient, and problem-solving approach to technical challengesFamiliarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and business software toolsStrong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearlyAn interest in technology and a willingness to learn on the jobA proactive mindset, with the confidence to ask questions and seek support when neededWhy join us?We are AJW.
