We are looking for Support Workers to join our amazing team who work at our service in Bury St Edmunds! We have Full-time (37.5 hours per week) and Part time (20 hours per week) position. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!No experience is needed just a can-do and positive attitude. We can give you all the training that you need to become an outstanding Support Worker- what we need is someone that wants to support people who have learning disabilities to live their best lives, and to live life to the full!About our servicesThe role of a support worker can be dynamic, supporting people out and about, eating out, theatre, shopping, tea and cake or the pub, and visiting family, generally enjoying a good social life. The role is also domestic, health and safety around the house, supporting and encouraging people with cleaning, laundry, gardening; everything we all do to run a smooth household. The role is very personal, support in the bathroom/shower and getting dressed, supporting someone with their mobility – this could be using a wheel chair or hoisting. Support to style someone’s hair as they are going out for the evening, support with eating and drinking and with any health needs and medication.
