Here at Osborne, we are hiring a Sustainability and Innovation Programme Manager for one of Ireland’s leading venues and philanthropic society based in Dublin 4. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Foundation Director and will develop strategies for development of the sustainability programme within the organisation.Package:

  • Salary – Up to €55,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday (flexibility required)

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of new programmes regarding sustainability which will involve extensive stakeholder engagement, ensuring best practice approaches, project planning and measurement planning to ensure meaningful impact can be tracked
  • Lead on the budgets, resource allocation, planning, management, administration, delivery, communication, design and evaluation of the existing programmes
  • Work closely with the Standing Committees in developing new programmes, provide guidance, seek feedback and promote new initiatives based on best practice and guided by evidence. Work with key stakeholders in the sectors to collaborate and increase impact.
  • Take responsibility for curating a communications plan relating to the programmes

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience working within either the science, environment, economic sector is essential
  • Hold a recognised degree preferably, master’s qualification in a subject relevant to environmental science
  • Highly motivated, organised and strategic with a passion for the environment, biodiversity, forestry, marine and / or circular economies
  • At least 5 years’ experience of scientific work in biodiversity, sustainable development goals, biodiversity, energy, climate action, and / or circular economy
  • Ability to engage with and influence internal and external stakeholders at a high level
  • Be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Able to manage and track a budget
  • Be capable of working on his / her own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible, adaptable and personable with a willingness to take on additional duties as required
