The SVP Finance TechOps will be a key member of the TechOps Division Leadership Team and play a critical leadership role in supporting the CTOO in the execution of the Divisions goals and objectives. This will include the delivery of financial metrics within the functions of manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality, B2B and operational excellence. This role requires a finance executive with deep expertise in financial planning, cost optimization, capital investment, and risk management, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.The role will also have a dotted line to the CFO, where they will be a member of the Finance Leadership Team.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

  • Execute the financial strategy for the TechOps division, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Partner with the TechOps Leadership and key stakeholders to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations on capital investments, cost-saving initiatives, and business transformation projects.

2. Financial Planning and analysis:

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for manufacturing, supply chain, quality, B2B, and related functions.
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for optimizing production costs, COGS, and operational expenditures.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational success

3. Cost Optimization & Profitability:

  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain operations.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance gross margin and EBITDA through operational improvements.
  • Ensure cost transparency and implement financial controls to manage expenditures effectively

4. Risk Management:

  • Oversee the financial risk management in coordination with the Arcera Risk Snr Director, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, GMP standards, and corporate policies.

5. Capital investment & asset management:

  • Assess and manage capital investments in manufacturing facilities, equipment, and technology.
  • Develop financial models to support investment decisions, including ROI analysis for capacity expansion and operational automation.
  • Optimize working capital, including inventory management and supplier financing strategies

6. Talent & Team Development:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain finance team, fostering collaboration across functions and regions.
  • Develop talents, build succession and foster a growth-mindset

7. Governance & Compliance

  • Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and compliance teams to maintain financial integrity and operational risk mitigation.
  • Reporting ownership: Preparation of MBRs, Budget/LE, business case review, inventory valuation, obsolescence
  • Role model Arcera Values and adhere to the internal policies and standard operating procedures designed to ensure patient safety, including mandatory attendance at trainings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of pharma manufacturing, supply chain finance, and COGS optimization.
  • Proven experience in leading financial planning, cost management, and capital investment strategies.
  • Expertise in ERP systems, financial modelling, and data analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in financial oversight of large-scale manufacturing operations.
  • Languages: English, other languages are a plus
