Transforming e-commerce space as Scandinavia’s leading online retailer of premium designer lighting is no small task. We are looking for people with the right mix of passion and technical knowledge to get the job done. Our goal is to build relationships based on trust, resulting in happy, passionate, loyal customers and colleagues.In general, your typical workday as a System administrator involves:

• Administering and troubleshooting internal systems, applications and backend services;
• Ensuring system reliability, uptime and performance;
• Writing and maintaining automation scripts for routine administrative tasks and system testing;
• Administering user accounts, permissions, and access controls;
• Managing, configuring, and backing up our backend servers and databases;

Being a System administrator requires:

• Mid to high proficiency with Python for automation and scripting;
• Solid experience working with Linux and system-level tools;
• An understanding of infrastructure operations, system administration, and service availability;
• A passion for solving challenging problems and proposing clean, practical solutions;
• An intense intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to share knowledge with others;

An ideal candidate:

• Has experience with SQL and working with logs, monitoring tools, or system data;
• Understands backend systems and has experience working in ecommerce;
• Must be fluent and eloquent in English.
