DescriptionSAS is looking for a skilled and ambitious specialist focusing on income tax accounting and reporting. If you have experience from tax controlling and would like to join Scandinavia’s leading airline – entering a new era – then welcome aboard!
The Tax Function has overall accountability for all taxes across the SAS Group. To continue ensuring direct tax compliance in a changing context, we are growing the team with a new position. The right candidate will have a key role in developing our tools and processes and facilitating a productive collaboration with our accounting colleagues.
The job is full time, based in HQ at Frösundavik, Stockholm. You will be part of a team of specialists and report to Director, Head of Group Tax.As Tax & Financial Controller you will

• Prepare/review income tax calculations and tax returns.
• Evaluate, monitor and improve quality and efficiency in tax reporting process.
• Prepare country-by-country reporting and data to transfer pricing local files.
• Monitor ongoing changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with global minimum tax rules.
• Prepare tax forecasting and identify cash tax saving possibilities.
• Coordinate and participate in connection to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

#LI-VK1To be successful, we believe you should have

• Master of Laws or similar with focus on taxation.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with documented skills within tax accounting as a tax consultant in big tax consultancy firm and/or as an inhouse tax specialist in a multinational organization.
• Good understanding of IFRS (IAS 12) and local GAAP.
• Ambition to keep up to date of legislative changes etc.
• Excellent communication skills, be fluent in written and spoken Swedish/Danish/Norwegian and business English.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, experience working in ERP systems, e.g., Oracle and consolidation systems e.g., Tagetik.
