Whether you have a few years of experience or over 5 years of expertise, this role offers significant growth opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful impact at DFDS, Northern Europe’s largest integrated shipping and logistics company.As the Group Tax Manager, you will report directly to our Global Head of Tax and work closely with a small, dynamic, and multicultural team at our sustainable office in Nordhavn, Copenhagen.   • Lead the implementation of Pillar2: Drive the adoption and integration of Pillar 2 regulations within DFDS, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
  • Global Tax Controlling: Oversee quarterly global tax controlling processes, providing insights and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Tax Danish return: Supporting with Tax Danish Return and Transfer pricing documentation
  • Strategic Support: Assist the Head of Tax with strategic initiatives and various tasks, contributing to the overall tax strategy.
  • Ad Hoc Tax Advice: Provide expert tax advice on a range of issues, supporting different departments and projects within DFDS.

As a person you have a systematic and analytical approach to work. You have good communication skills and can work in a team across cultural and national differences. Moreover, you are responsible, understand the importance of keeping deadlines, and are eager to learn and develop.Furthermore, the ideal candidate has:

  • Holds a degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Has a few years of experience in tax functions or tax compliance.
  • Has a keen interest in tax matters, tax compliance etc.
  • Is proficient in both Danish and English, written and spoken, as you will handle Danish tax compliance and collaborate with local authorities.
  • Is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at solving complex problems.

Experience with tax compliance and reporting is a plus.
