In addition to delivering modern managed security services, Telenor Cyberdefence AS will also offer specialist expertise through consultancy services and testing of infrastructure / applications with our Offensive Security team.Join our innovative team at Telenor Cyberdefence in the position as Team Lead OT Security – at our HQ in Oslo Fornebu.We are looking for a dynamic and team-oriented leader with hands-on experience in operational technology, capable of guiding both clients and colleagues in addressing complex security challenges across industrial environments.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Team Lead OT with subject matter responsibility to strengthen security across operational technology (OT) environments and play a key role in developing Telenor Cyberdefence’s OT services. This role blends deep technical expertise in OT with a commercially oriented approach to addressing security challenges at the intersection of IT and OT. You will be a key contributor in advisory engagements, implementing security measures, and developing services that monitor and protect critical OT systems.Key responsibility:Advisory and Risk Assessment

• Plan, conduct, and lead risk and maturity assessments for OT environments
• Identify vulnerabilities and propose measures to improve the security posture of OT environments
• Advise clients on secure integration between IT and OT infrastructures

Development of OT SOC Services

• Contribute as an OT SME in the design and implementation of Security Operations Center (SOC) services for OT environments.
• Provide expertise and guidance on implementing OT-specific detections within a SOC context.
• Ensure seamless integration between IT and OT security monitoring.

Technical Support and Architecture

• Advise on secure design and architecture for industrial networks, with a focus on resilience and robustness against cyber threats.
• Support clients in digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Standards Compliance

• Guide clients in aligning with relevant standards such as IEC 62443, the NIS Directive, and other applicable laws and regulations.

Internal Development and Competence Building

• Be a driving force for innovation within the field of OT security

We believe you have the following qualifications and personality skills:

• Relevant education within process and automation engineering.
• Practical, hands-on experience from operational technology environments (SCADA, ICS, DCS, SIS, PLC, RTU) is required.
• Familiarity with security in industrial infrastructure and experience with OT automation.
• Practical experience with challenges related to IT/OT convergence, including network segmentation, patch management, and risk handling of legacy systems.
• Experience with frameworks such as IEC 62443 or equivalent OT security standards.
• Relevant certifications such as GICSP or GRID are an advantage.

• Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts in an understandable way to various stakeholders
• Proactive attitude toward learning and knowledge sharing and genuine interest in IT/OT security
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and verbal
