We are currently working with a residential developer, who are looking to expand their team in the Surrey area by bringing in a Technical Coordinator.The business has developments and sites across the Surrey and Sussex. They are an industry leader and renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, our client has earned accolades for excellence throughout the construction industryResponsibilities:

  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage the technical aspects of residential development projects, ensuring all technical deliverables meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to oversee the design process, ensuring that all designs are aligned with planning approvals and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all technical specifications and plans comply with local building codes, planning regulations, and environmental standards, obtaining necessary approvals and permits.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and produce regular progress reports for project stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Supplier and Contractor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and contractors, coordinating technical aspects of their work to ensure integration with overall project goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues during the construction phase, working closely with site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that all technical work meets the high standards expected by the developer and end-users.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams, external consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are aligned on technical requirements.
