Your leadership will ensure the timely delivery of key projects aligned with our strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the development of embedded sensor technology for maritime applications.Coordinate and oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring effective collaboration between internal teams and external partners.Identify and select industry partners to support product development.Drive real-world testing and pilot phases, tracking performance and making necessary adjustments.Facilitate stakeholder meetings across departments to ensure project alignment.Monitor project milestones, providing regular updates to senior management.Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and clients to integrate new technologies smoothly.Identify and address potential risks to prevent delays or issues.What you need to succeed in the role:Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.3-5 years of experience managing technology/product development projects.Proven experience with mechanical, electronic, and software engineering integration.Background in sensor technology or “smart” product development is highly desirable.Strong technical knowledge paired with excellent problem-solving abilities.Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment.Fluent English, both spoken and written, and a willingness to travel globally as required.Who We’re Looking For:Ambitious, driven, and passionate about developing innovative solutions.Curious, proactive, and open-minded.Able to motivate teams and foster collaboration across functions.What we offer:Working in Wilhelmsen can offer a culture and work environment of strong leadership, career development, work-life balance and a job that is both challenging and stimulating.
