Task Responsibilities:The main responsibilities of the Composite Repair Shop Technician is to repair, overhaul, and modify composite components in the shop and on the aircraft. Some of the tasks include:

Accomplish composite repairs using wet-lay-up, hot-bonding and metal-to-metal bonding processes.
Coordinate the ongoing tasks with other team members.
Assist in creating tools and fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs.
Operate shop tooling and equipment according to the approval and training received.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

At least a technical diploma as industrial mechanic (CATP/ DAP or equivalent)
At least five years experience in composite repairs, preferably in aviation
Good understanding of drawings, manuals and composite repair methods
Ability to work independently
Comfortable to work at height
Good computer knowledge in the MS Office programms
Fluent in written and spoken English

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, based in Luxembourg
Shift work as per the shop working schedule (two-shift-schedule)
Regular and full-time presence required, vacations and other absences to be planned respecting shop needs
Occasional travel may be required and remunerated in accordance with our Collective Work Agreement
