TasksYou are ensuring Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance Support on the engine types, powering our Airbus A220, A320, A330, A340, A350 and Boeing 777 in compliance with type certificate and regulatory requirements.This challenging but exciting and rewarding position as TechOps Engineer – Powerplant includes the following primetasks:

  • Ensuring compliance of Powerplant fleets with the continuing airworthiness requirements issued by TC holders and airworthiness authorities
  • Evaluating of maintenance requirements and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), monitoring their implementation, and initiating corrective measures in the event of deviations
  • Analysing engine health monitoring data to predict and prevent potential failures, by development of adequate corrective actions
  • Liaising with OEMs on technical issues
  • Conducting technical investigations in the frame of the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Provide support for our Maintenance (incl. on-call duty during non-office hours)

  • Specific knowledge of Powerplant systems (Engine & APU) is a strong asset
  • Higher educational degree in aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or completed vocational training coupled with several years of professional experience and HF-Degree in the aviation industry
  • Skilled in coordinating and organizing multiple objectives at the same time
  • Able to always work accurately and reliably even under time pressure
  • Strong analytical skills paired with solution- and aim-oriented thinking as well as initiative-taking acting
  • AMOS Maintenance Information Systems familiarity is a plus
  • Willingness to be on-call at regular intervals
  • Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
  • Fluency in English, German is beneficial
