Test Automation Engineers
to work in Ponsse Group Global Digital Services & IT Team in Finland.Are you passionate about ensuring the quality of digital services through automation? Great, you are warmly welcome to being part of the world’s largest manufacturer of cut-to-length forest machines to ensure the successful delivery of digital solutions!As a Test Automation Engineer you execute Ponsse’s automation strategy by working as a part of quality assistance team, and project or scrum teams. Your main responsibility is to manage test automation related tasks during the whole digital service or IT system lifecycle. Your work starts from building understanding of end user need and continues to your expertise area; test automation specification, design and development. You create test automation for longer value chains and support developers for the testing in their area of responsibility. While you are monitoring test results you also keep test automation running from a maintenance point of view. You participate to continuous development of test automation practices.Required qualifications on this role:Relevant formal education like a Bachelor’s degree in technologyExperience on software testing and quality assurance as well as test automation environments and toolsCI/CD and DevOps knowledge and experience for example about Azure DevOps or other version control systemsPython or other scripting experienceExperience on keyword-based test automation design and implementation, for example Robot FrameworkAbility to embrace the end user needs and support high quality software development processGood communication skills and a fluency in both spoken and written English?As a person you are responsibility taking and you have willingness to learn new things.
