We in the Access Control (AC) Quality Assurance (QA) team at Axis are now looking for a Test Engineer with a cloud focus to join our HQ in Lund, Sweden. Access Control is a product area within New Business at Axis.Your future teamWe are the AC QA team dedicated to ensuring the Access Control solution area delivers Axis products and solutions that earn customer trust, ensuring reliability and satisfaction.Our team consists of 18 test engineers with mixed experience, both seniors, specialists and junior engineers, and a widespread background. As a member of a scrum team, you’ll work with testing a cloud solution. Your responsibilities will include:

• Manual and automated testing of a cloud-based web application
• Monitoring the health and behavior of the application in production
• Supporting test planning and execution throughout the development cycle
• Collaborating closely with developers and product management to improve quality
• Contributing to testing methods, tools, and continuous improvement of QA practices
• Ensuring usability and reliability from a customer perspective

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who is passionate about software quality and cloud technologies. You have strong technical and analytical skills and enjoy a mix of tasks — from exploratory manual testing to writing and maintaining automated test scripts.You have:

• Experience in manual testing of web/cloud applications
• Familiarity with test tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Vitest, or Jest
• Some programming or scripting experience (preferably TypeScript, Bash, or Python)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Experience working with GitHub and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• A good understanding of user experience from both functional and aesthetic perspectives
• An interest in production monitoring, logs, metrics, and performance
