Are you a good communicator and do you thrive with a broad network and varied tasks – then you are the one we are looking for.IT Problem Solver and the “Go to Person”As our “on-site” IT Support trainee, you will provide first and second level IT support, including mobile and device management to Marel’s employees in Denmark and Norway. You will work from the IT office in Aarhus, where you will be part of a local team with two skilled and dedicated IT colleagues. You will have over 300 Marel colleagues locally and over 7000 globally.Strong with IT, Outgoing, and Service-mindedYou thrive best with a variety of task types and are happy to take on a technical challenge, while also being outgoing and building important relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders – both in Marel Denmark and Marel globally.You will be taught how to work with Topdesk, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Cisco DNA Center, and similar applications that will be part of the day-to-day support.You will be part of a team that work on the following tasks, among others:
- Support Marel’s employees in resolving IT-related requests and challenges and ensure they are resolved with a high level of service and good follow-up along the way, including:
- Provide input on how we drive and optimize our problem management process
- Prepare, configure, and implement client systems via SCCM, including updates
- Install, configure, and support desktop applications, including the Windows Office Suite
- Maintain and create IT assets and set up rotation of IT assets for decommissioned assets
- Maintain system setup and installation data as needed according to system configuration
- Prepare, configure, and distribute mobile devices including iPhones and iPads and guide employees with mobile phone challenges (Android / iOS)
- Review and update Service Desk documentation, including knowledge-based articles, shared information, or other information, including participating in company presentations
- Support in other areas, such as printer installations, changes in active directories (AD), and user account management
About you:The job requires an ambitious and outgoing student with a deep interest and broad insight into a supportive IT role. You have at least basic knowledge of PC hardware, software, and can approach troubleshooting and support in a structured and systematic way. You have knowledge and experience with Android and iOS-related multimedia devices as well as knowledge of Windows 10/11. You can communicate well both in spoken and written Danish and English.Ideally, you will graduate in 2026 or 2027 so you can take the full traineeship period with us.We OfferWe offer a position and role of great importance.
