Copenhagen Business School (CBS) invites applications for two 3-year postdoctoral positions in Governance of Corporate Responsibility, located at the Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC).The selected candidates will contribute to the research project D-COREThe Dark Side of Corporate Responsibility: Content Moderation as Emotional Dirty Work in the Digital AgeThe positions are hosted at the new CBS Sustainable Governance Lab at MSC and the preferred start dates are September 2025 and February 2026.Overall Project FocusThe D-CORE project investigates emotional and governance challenges linked to content moderation within online platform companies such as YouTube, Meta, and X. It has two objectives: one, to understand how content moderation presents itself as dirty work while intersecting with CSR frameworks.And two, it seeks to study governance modalities of platform organizations with a view to enable human-centred oversight.As part of D-CORE, two Postdocs will be hired and they will contribute to the following activities related to their chosen research objectives described above:
QualificationsThe applicant must hold a PhD or the equivalent. In assessing applications, particular emphasis will be placed on research potential.The Postdoc positions are non-tenured positions for a 3-year period with research obligation. No teaching obligations.To fulfill the research requirements of the position, the applicant chosen is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the teaching and research activities of the Department.Emphasis is placed on research relevant to the job description.Applicants should have:

Recruitment procedureThe Recruitment Committee will shortlist minimum two applicants; when possible five or more applicants will be shortlisted.
