We currently have a vacancy for a User Experience Expert (Drupal) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks

• Analyze business needs in UX;
• Prepares quantitative and qualitative research and analysis in UX;
• Design UX and services for our online content;
• Build and customize Twig templates for Drupal;
• Develop and maintain CKEditor custom components;
• Develop and maintain Angular components and applications;
• Integrate RESTful APIs for dynamic data presentation;
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, such as WCAG.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in HTML/CSS;
• Minimum 10 years’ of specific expertise in JavaScript and associated libraries (jQuery, Ajax, Json, Gsap);
• Minimum 5 years’ of specific expertise in Drupal themes (preferably Drupal 8/9/10);
• Minimum 5 years’ of specific expertise in Angular/Typescript;
• Experience using Git and collaborative tools like GitHub or GitLab;
• Experience in SASS;
• Experience in Usability and accessibility standards;
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG);
• Understanding of multilingual setups and internationalization (i18n) for global projects;
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles;
• Familiarity with Twig templates, and custom module integration;
• Familiarity with modern front-end tooling (Webpack, npm, etc.);
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like JIRA, Confluence;
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools;
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and performance optimization;
• Excellent command of the English language, other European languages would be an asset.
