Requirements– Applicants must address each selection criterion listed below with specific and comprehensive supporting information for each item.
– Must be a Finnish citizen or legal resident authorized to work in Finland.
– An academic degree from a recognized culinary institute and relevant work experience in the culinary field.
– Basic knowledge of Mexican cuisine
– Proficiency in Spanish and/or English, along with working knowledge of Finnish
– Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends when needed).
– Management skills.
– Selected applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement.Job description:
– Applicants will be responsible for culinary and managerial tasks related to the Residence´s kitchen operation.
– Planning day-to-day and special events, along with food preparation and serving.
– Proposing menus and wine pairings with cost estimations, based on needs.
– Setting and dressing formal tables for official events.
– Purchasing groceries locally.
– Properly utilizing, accounting for, and tracking inventory of ingredients, raw materials, and kitchen equipment.
– Ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, surrounding areas, etc.
