Sony Semiconductor is expanding its team in Oulu, Finland, and we are looking for a skilled and motivatedVERIFICATION TEAM LEADto take on a key leadership role in building a brand-new local verification team from the ground up.In this unique opportunity, you will initially work closely with our experienced verification team in Israel gaining support, sharing knowledge, and learning our methodologies, while gradually establishing and shaping the local team and verification capabilities in Oulu.If you’re a senior verification engineer looking to grow into a leadership role, or if you’re already leading and mentoring others, we strongly encourage you to apply. We are also open to experienced Senior Verification Engineers with strong technical skills and the potential to grow into the Team Lead position.As Verification Team Lead, you will:· Collaborate closely with our Israel-based verification team while building and leading a new verification team in Oulu.· Take full ownership of verification activities from block-level to chip-level, including test plan development, coverage, and debug.· Define and implement advanced verification methodologies aligned with SoC design requirements.· Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and day-to-day guidance to local team members as they join.· Coordinate with design, software, and production teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of SoC components.· Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative verification tools and technologies.Requirements· BSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.· Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in the verification of complex SoC designs.· Proficiency in Specman and/or SystemVerilog.· Strong understanding of system-level flows, constraints, and integration challenges.· Self-driven, curious, and organized, with a proactive mindset.· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have:· Experience with UVM.· Knowledge of SoC architecture, on-chip interconnect protocols, and verification frameworks.Why Join Us?At Sony Semiconductor Israel, youll work on industry-leading 5G IoT and AI technologies that are shaping the connected world.
