Would you like to help with practical activities in a drop-in social café fro vulnerable and lonely people?Café Paraplyen is a joint venture between Frederiksberg Council, YMCA Social Work and the local Folk Church.The house is a café and activity facility who is open for people in need – 7 days a week. It is run by volunteers as well as a few emplyees.Café Paraplyen aims to offer an accepting and respectful environment where people in need can make relations as well as enjoy a daily meal.We work in teams, and it is possible to join us in the afternoons or in the mornings, or during the weekend.Volunteers are bound by code of confidentiality, which does not stop with cessation of the volunteer job.If you are curious about the café, and would like to join us, then apply for an interview through the fomular below.NOTE: YOU NEED TO HAVE A DANISH ADRESS AND CPR NO IN ORDER TO APPLY
