Responsible for 3 bill. revenue – Int. team of 12Project & Business Controlling – Forecasting – ContractingRegion Southern DenmarkWe are looking for a VP Finance to an international company located in Jutland, with a strong background in Project Controlling and extensive experience managing large, complex projects in both new-build and service environments. As the VP Finance, you will steer the financial strategy and operations of the division, overseeing strategic planning, risk management, project controlling, financial record-keeping, and reporting. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in empowering the finance team to excel in their deliverables through motivation, development, and communication. The finance team consists of 12 skilled specialists located in 3 countries in Northern Europe.Key success is to maintain close collaboration and ongoing dialogue with your stakeholders; To ensure knowledge sharing across the organization, promote efficiency, and foster a team-oriented workflow, ultimately ensuring success for the organization.Experience and interest in M&A will be considered a plus. Accounting, Legal, and IT are handled by other group functions, and these will not be part of this position.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a finance team within a large company context, understanding the nuances of HQ and divisional dynamics, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administrative operations and projects, with a keen eye on cost control and profitability.
- Craft financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staffing needs, identifying financial resources, and formulating action plans.
- Apply your experience in large complex project management to ensure financial targets and business strategies are met, employing control systems to track project progress and financial health.
- Ensure strict adherence to statutory laws and financial regulations, coordinate with auditors, and maintain relationships with financial institutions. Uphold and promote internal procedures and standards.
- Ensure deliver precise and timely financial reporting, including detailed project-specific financial statements and analyses.
- Evaluate financial performance, instigate corrective actions, and mitigate the impact of variances, with a focus on aligning with long-term strategic goals.
