Our client, a leading player in the aviation leasing sector is seeking a VP Finance to join its Dublin-based Finance team. Reporting to the EVP Group Reporting, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting to senior management, shareholders, and other stakeholders.This position offers a unique opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to a high-performing finance function and work closely with commercial, trading, and leasing teams on strategic transactions.Key Responsibilities:Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting to senior management and shareholdersPrepare and review consolidated and SPV-level statutory financial statementsOwn key accounting areas and perform technical accounting analysis under IFRSSupport and drive innovation in management reporting using tools like Power BIEnsure accurate processing of leasing transactions within relevant systemsPerform reconciliations of key balance sheet and income statement accountsCollaborate with commercial and cross-functional teams on a range of transactionsLiaise with auditors and provide technical accounting insightsIdentify and support process improvements and internal control enhancementsQualifications & Experience:Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience in a similar roleStrong technical knowledge of IFRSExperience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environmentExposure to aviation leasing, asset management, or similar sectors preferredProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience with Power BI and Microsoft Business Central a plusThis role provides an excellent platform for professional growth and visibility across a dynamic and globally-focused finance operation.For more details apply for the role, please contact me at ruby@lucidasearch.ie.
