CREGG are delighted to be partnering with our distribution client in Raheen in Limerick, hiring Warehouse operators. Three shift options available, days, two cycle(days/evenings) and weekends. Three month contract with view to extension.This role requires a 5 year employment background check.The role of the Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing the physical or combined administrative/physical tasks involved in the storing, counting and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Compiles and maintains records as required.Main Duties:

• Verify product received in according with Customer and client SOP’s.
• Receipt onto custom built package using RF scanners to book and scan freight into correct locations.
• Operating various ERP and Warehouse Management Systems
• Store and rack in correct location as per warehouse procedures.
• Labelling of product.
• Ensure product is ready for dispatch to the correct location.
• Handle released and unreleased goods in accordance with customer’s procedures.
• Reporting of damaged stock.
• Reporting, trouble shooting and quarantine of damaged stock.
• Operation of Manual Handling Equipment and completion of associated pre-checks.
• Prepare any shipments or returns to Customer’s Warehouse.

Requirements:

• Develop and maintain customer interaction standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to proactively resolve issues with customers.
• Adherence to Customer and client Quality and EHS controls.
• Actively support and participate in Quality, EHS and Regulatory Audits
• Actively partake in training deemed appropriate to the position.
• Reporting any breaches in health and safety
• Adhere to Air Cargo Security / Known Consignor requirements.
• Adherence to Quality controls and SOPs including Good Documentation Practice (GDP) & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & HACCP Guidelines where applicable.
• Adherence to Gowning requirements where applicable.
• General upkeep of Warehouse and work area

Education Skills & Attributes Required

• Completion of Leaving Certificate, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
• + years’ experience in a regulated warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience in the use ERP and WMS IT systems a positive
• Knowledge of ISO, HACCP and cGMP requirements a plus
• Attention to detail & accuracy of work.
• Highest quality standards expected & required.
