About The RoleHomeServe are currently recruiting for Water Supply Pipe Engineers to join our team!

• Location – Northampton
• Full Time – 40 hours a week – including some evening, weekend and bank holiday work
• Salary – Between £36,650 – £43,700 (includes location allowance) depending upon experience and a £1500 signing on bonus!

As part of your role with HomeServe you will be attending customer’s properties, identifying leaks on the water supply pipes, excavating ground to fix pipes and making the ground good once complete.Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains is essential; Due to the role you must be comfortable working outdoor in all-weather types.A little more about the role:As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer you will represent the HomeServe brand and undertake the maintenance and repair work of mains water pipes in private domestic properties. • Basic starting salary of up to £40,700 with an OTE of over £43,000 if you opt in to additional hours at an enhanced rate

About YouWhat you’ll have

• Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains
• Experience of working in all-weather types
• Must hold a full UK driving license, with 6 or less penalty points.
• Must be able to approach and resolve problems logically
• Can demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand
• Excellent customer service skills
• It would also be great if you had experience of working in an FCA regulated environment
• Ideally WIAPS and CCNSG or NVQ Level 2 – but not essential.

• Week 1 will be Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 at our Head Office in Walsall, covering all things HomeServe, Health and Safety, tools and equipment
• Week 2-3 you will be buddied up with an experienced HomeServe Water Supply Pipe Engineer
• Week 4 will be 3 days in Nottingham for additional training and support
• Where geographically appropriate we will pay for your accommodation
