This function is expected to develop and deliver a Wealth Transition offering, to existing and prospect clients of Rothschild & Co Bank Switzerland, in close cooperation with other parts of the Group.Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a systematic Wealth Transition offering for our clients including tracking of commercials
• Prepare proposals to clients and prospects from different jurisdictions with consideration to aspects of wealth transition (focus on international context and use of structures such as but not limited to trusts, foundations, private label funds)
• Act as sparring partner to client advisors on wealth planning matters, including coaching / training and participation in client meetings
• Develop and maintain a network of legal and tax advisors and other third-party service providers across different jurisdictions
• Liaising and collaborating with wealth planners / transition experts from other locations of Rothschild & Co to leverage and expand our know-how and expertise
• Participate in selected internal and external events as a guest and/or speaker

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years professional experience, preferably in the wealth transition / planning department of a financial institution or in an international law firm
• In-depth knowledge and experience of a broad spectrum of financial planning instruments such as trusts, foundations, partnerships and private label funds
• Legal degree
• STEP Certification is an asset
• Training and ongoing education in wealth planning and taxation
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken), other language skills are an advantage
• A focus on customer service excellence is a must; sensitivity and empathy is a pre-requisite

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

• At least 5+ years of a successful track record of wealth transition cases for wealthy families
• Ability to handle complex projects across business units and jurisdictions to achieve long term goals
• Ability to prioritize, plan and control activities to achieve goals
• Strong advisory and sales skills
• Strong organisational skills, independent working style, flexible
• Able to lead, develop and train staff members and transmit know-how
• Capable of problem-solving, acting independently on mandates assigned
• Entrepreneurial spirit, taking ownership
• High energy, high impact and solution focused individual
• Willingness to travel
