Do you have a background from marine electro/controls system and want to support our project activities in the marine and offshore industry? If yes, OSM Thome is actively seeking skilled professional like you to join our team.As an Electrical Specialist, you will play an important role within our organisation for offshore and ship operation, responsible for follow-up matters related to Dynamic Positioning, control & automation systems, and electrical installations. Based in our Arendal office, you’ll be at the core of our operations. - Be part of our Project Team responsible for modifications and newbuildings involving Floating Storage Units, Offshore Vessels, Shuttle Tankers, and deep-sea vessels.
- Be our project resource person for electro installations and control/automation/DP systems
- Play a key role in developing green projects
- Support our organization in growth in offshore unit operation, offshore vessel operation and shuttle tanker operation
Qualifications:
- Background as Electrical Engineer (MSc or BSc) or senior onboard Electrician/ETO with relevant project experience
- Preferably experience from authority/class, marine industry for electrical systems or control systems, offshore unit operation, DP vessels, or yard/supplier industry.
- Good with communication in both Scandinavian and English, both written and verbal
