As a Video Content Creator, you will play a central role in shaping the Wield VRs brand and its visual storytelling. Your work focuses on ideating, scripting, and producing immersive, short-form video content that captures the essence of physical, hands-on VR interaction. You’ll record VR gameplay and shoot clips using multi-camera setups (DSLR, GoPro, and advanced tracking gear) and then edit them into engaging and story-driven rough cuts.You’ll work closely with our Content Marketer to align on vision, storyline, and tone and they’ll be the one to finalize your content for publishing. Your day might include filming a single idea with twenty different ways, building a library of reusable clips, or putting a spin on trending styles and effects. Whether you’re sketching storyboards, creating an epic shot or assembling your vision in CapCut, you bring ideas to life visually and occasionally feature in the content yourself!Who You Are The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, visually intuitive, and energized by fast iteration and feedback loops. You have a strong sense of the target audience and you know how to hook and retain the audience with an engaging concept. You’re comfortable behind and in front of the camera and have a natural eye for what looks awesome in a video. You enjoy collaborating, can take constructive feedback, and are able to clearly communicate your creative ideas. If you’ve ever scripted your own content or juggled multiple creative projects, even better!Required qualifications:
– Deep passion for VR action games
– Proficiency with cameras and video equipment
– Experience with video shooting and editing, especially for platforms like TikTok or YouTube
– Ability to lead projects from concept to rough cut
– Familiarity with video editing software like CapCut or Davinci Resolve
– Full professional proficiency in English both written and spoken
– Additionally valuable skills:
– Background in streaming, content creation, esports, or influencer marketing
