Key Outcomes

  • The primary focus of this position is to support the structure and maintenance of the Workday system (HRIS)
  • Support security configuration to ensure appropriate control of access to the data and system.
  • Provide 2nd level support to triage, diagnose, and assign/resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, etc.
  • Provide day-to-day support to HRIS stakeholders within the HR, Payroll, as well as to end users (employees and managers).
  • Support HRIS upgrades, proactively monitor new features, upgrades and enhancements released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans, including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.
  • Support the HRIS Project Manager in testing and data validation and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with Divisional HR teams and business stakeholders to gather and define requirements and provide recommendations through a consultative approach.
  • Partner with all areas of HR and business to create, edit and prepare reports and user-friendly dashboards where needed.
  • Participate actively in the Workday Community, propose and advocate for improvements to the Workday solution, and build a network of peers to best-practice-share with.
  • Ensure audit, compliance and GDPR practices are implemented and adhered to, and support system audits.
  • Support the divisional HR teams to maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee data.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation

Key Skills & Experiences2 years’ experience working within a Workday configurations role together with a background in HR, either in a generalist or specialist role would be preferable. From there, we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of multiple workday modules.
  • Understanding of the full HR processes
  • Strong communication skills, both in composing thoughtful and carefully written communication and sharing complex information verbally.
  • You can navigate highly complex business needs without a clearly defined path and where you see a need, you bring a well-considered solution.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday best practices and how to effectively translate into realistic business processes.
  • Uses Initiative– always spots opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results.
  • Ideally completed some Workday Courses
