With a strong track record in international contracting and partnerships, Concrete Solutions leverages cross-functional resources and civil construction capabilities to differentiate itself in competitive markets.What will you be doing?We are seeking a proactive and analytically strong Cost Estimatorto join our team, with a dedicated focus on early-phase estimating for concrete offshore structures. This includes cost development during concept design, pre-FEED, and eventually FEED stages, supporting feasibility studies, investment decisions, and competitive positioning for future offshore wind projects.This role is ideal for candidates with a civil cost estimator or engineering background with strong understanding of concrete construction. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-level and conceptual cost estimates for offshore concrete substructures (e.g., gravity-based and floating foundations)Provide input during early-phase project development, including sensitivity analysis, cost ranges, and budget frameworksTranslate preliminary technical concepts, layouts, and construction methodologies into structured cost modelsSupport techno-economic assessments, LCOE benchmarking, and comparative scenario analysisCollaborate with design, geotechnical, marine operations, and strategy teams to refine assumptions and identify cost driversMaintain and develop internal cost databases, benchmarks, and estimation toolsContribute to value engineering and early-phase risk assessmentsSupport client proposals, bids, and early-stage partnership dialogues with robust cost inputWe think you should have: QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineExperience in cost estimation – preferably within concrete cost estimationStrong understanding of concrete marine structures and offshore wind project lifecyclesExperience in early-stage estimation methodsStrong competence in Excel, and familiarity with cost estimation tools is beneficialAbility to work with incomplete or evolving technical inputs and still provide robust cost guidance Preferred ExperienceBackground in large civil, marine, or offshore energy infrastructure projectsExperience supporting pre-FEED or FEED for offshore wind foundations (gravity-based or floating)Understanding of port logistics, construction sequencing, and installation methods for offshore concreteMore reasons to work with us:At Aker Solutions we are committed to creating an enjoyable, rewarding, and engaging career where you can thrive.
