Kolding Childrens College is looking for dedicated volunteers for our steering committee. We need many hands as we work together to make the world bigger for the little ones and create high school traditions at a child-friendly level.We are looking for new members who want to help take Kolding Children’s College to new heights.What does the steering committee do?The steering committee is the senior management of the Children’s College. We work closely with the director and are responsible for both vision, operations and development. Together we set the direction for the Children’s College’s future.We are a volunteer group with different professional backgrounds and experiences – and we have the common goal of creating the best possible framework for children’s curiosity, learning and well-being.As a member, you will have both strategic influence and the opportunity to contribute to the specific activities and everyday life at the college – in collaboration with the principal and the many committed volunteer teachers and committees.The steering group reports to the board of directors of the YMCA and the KWU in Kolding, of which the Children’s College is a part.You can read much more about the Children’s College by clicking around the website.Who are you?You do not need to know about the Children’s College or the YMCA and the KWUK in advance. We believe in the strength of diversity and want a mix of many different skills and personalities.The most important thing is that you are reliable, committed and passionate about creating a place with quality, dignity and curiosity for children aged 6-12.What do you get out of it?
