Job description

We are presently recruiting for a Building Services Engineer for our clients in County Kerry. Working on a number of Sate contracts, you will be tasked with conducting site assessments, oversee installation processes, and providing ongoing support to ensure that building systems operate effectively and ultimately ensuring that the projects are safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly. This is a full-time position, based in County Kerry.Responsibilities:

• Design of Mechanical / Electrical Services and Installations (from initial concept stage to handover), including brief development and design solutions
• Compilation of Specifications for Services and Installations.
• Ensuring full co-ordination between specifications and drawings.
• Compiling project reports.
• Conceptual design studies and reports.
• Liaising with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the design requirements.

Qualifications / Skills

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment.
• A strong understanding of Mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems Is essential.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of the Building Services Mechanical / Electrical systems.
• Revit experience would be an advantage.
